Celebrating 25 years of trusted service. Read More >
March 4, 2026 (Appleton, Wisconsin) – Fiduciary Partners Trust Company (FPTC), the only privately-owned, advisor-friendly independent trust services company in the state of Wisconsin, will celebrate its 25th year of serving high-net-worth individuals in the Midwest in 2026.
“We will host a variety of special events at our Appleton, Brookfield and Madison offices for our legal and investment management partners and clients but we will also look for ways to give back to our communities in a big way this year,” said Ryan Valentine, President of Fiduciary Partners Trust Company.
The company is planning to donate $25,000 to non-profits and charities through increased employee matching funds in celebration of their 25th anniversary.
“We’re so proud of our achievement and grateful for the support of individuals and companies throughout the Midwest that we felt compelled to give back to the communities that helped us grow over the past 25 years,” Valentine added.
In 2001, FPTC opened its doors in Appleton with just two employees. Today, the Company employs 45 professionals and manages $2.5 billion in assets for 700 families throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, Upper Michigan and Illinois. Valentine credits the company’s success with the unique principle on which it was founded.
“Our founders believed that we would be successful if we stayed true to one simple principle— that trust clients receive the best customer service when we partner with their wealth advisors,” Valentine explained.
While other trust companies utilize a “one-stop shop” approach, this can create a conflict of interest for clients when the management of trust investments is performed by the same party that is responsible for the administration of the trust. FPTC recognized this and seized the opportunity to differentiate itself. By operating as an independent trust company, they remain flexible and conflict-free, working alongside clients’ investment managers and focusing only on fulfilling the trust creator’s wishes. Today, they remain the only advisor-friendly independent trust company in Wisconsin.
“It was a simple, but groundbreaking idea back then and still is today,” Valentine added. “It’s truly why we have been so successful and why we will be around for a long time.”
According to a recent Capgemini report, high-net-worth individuals in the U.S. grew by 7.3% in 2025.
“The need for trust services is increasing, mirroring the rise of high-net-worth individuals,” Valentine explained. “Competition to help these wealthy individuals create a legacy will be fierce, but our independent, objective model of service will continue to be a winning choice for many in the decades ahead.”
